Registered Speech-Language Pathologist

David has been working as a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist since 2017. He is originally from Ontario, and graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia in 2016 with a Master of Speech Pathology Studies (MSpPathSt).

Since then, he has been working in the private sector, mostly working with children with Autism. Additionally, David has extensive experience working with communication apps on the iPad (Augmentative and Alternative Communication — AAC) and a special interest in working with adults with voice disorders.  David believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to communicate.

When not providing speech therapy, David enjoys spending time with friends and doing outdoor activities or unwinding at home with books or video games.  He also enjoys creative writing and amateur voice acting. David lives with his fiancée, their son, and their cat Charlie.

David speaks English, French, and Spanish, and he is happy to offer services in any of these languages.

Managing Director, Co-Owner

Morgan is the Co-Owner and Managing Director of Speech Bubbles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley, with a dual major in Psychology and Philosophy, and returned to UFV in 2021 to complete the Applied Business Technology (ABT) program.

Morgan's path to Speech Bubbles was not entirely conventional. Before entering the field, she worked in a variety of industries and management roles and lived and worked across Canada. Her career eventually led her to working directly with children with diverse support needs, first as a Behaviour Interventionist and later as a Communication Health Assistant. Those experiences introduced her to a field she quickly became passionate about.

Today, Morgan leads the operational and organizational side of the clinic. Her role focuses on building the systems, services, policies, and team structures that allow Speech Bubbles' clinicians to provide thoughtful, individualized care while making the experience of accessing services as supportive and approachable as possible for families.

In February 2026, Morgan learned through an adulthood diagnosis that she is neurodivergent. The experience gave her an unexpected new perspective on both her personal life and the organization she had helped build. Things she had previously understood simply as the ways she learned, communicated, worked, or experienced the world could suddenly be viewed through a different lens. It also gave her an even greater appreciation for something that had already become central to Speech Bubbles: there is no single "right" way for a person to communicate, learn, connect, work, or succeed.

Morgan is particularly passionate about creating an organization where neurodivergence is understood as part of human diversity, where challenges can be supported without losing sight of strengths, and where children and adults alike are given the opportunity to better understand themselves.

When Morgan is not managing the clinic, she can usually be found experimenting with a new recipe, spending time with her cats, or planning her next trip.

Service Coordinator

Christina was born and raised in the Lower Mainland. She graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2022, with a Bachelor of Art degree in political science, and a minor in philosophy. Before joining the Speech Bubbles team in January 2025, Christina worked for over 9 years in customer service. She has always enjoyed working in a position that allows her to foster positive relationships and provide support.

As an administrative assistant, Christina is committed to helping create a welcoming environment for everyone who comes through our clinic doors, as well as aiding with any questions or concerns.

When not at work, Christina enjoys playing video games, being outdoors, or spending time with her cat, Oreo.

Behaviour Consultant

Chelsea has always called the Fraser Valley her home. Chelsea graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2017, with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English literature and a minor in philosophy.

From 2017 to 2022, Chelsea supported and taught children with exceptionalities working under the supervision of Behaviour Consultants, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists. In 2022, she was accepted into the University of Western Ontario and completed a Master's in Professional Education with a focus on Teaching Students with Exceptionalities (MPeD-TSE) in June of 2024. 

Starting in the fall of 2024, Chelsea began towards certification in Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) to further pursue her passion of supporting the needs of exceptional children and their families.  

When Chelsea is not working or furthering her education, she enjoys spending time with her cat Maisy, enjoying the company of good friends, and engaging in her hobbies which include reading, crocheting, and video games.

Registered Speech-Language Pathologist

Hanna has been a practising SLP since 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in 2020 at Northern Michigan University, where she completed extensive research in accent modification. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Nebraska in 2022 and completed her Certification of Clinical Competence in 2023. When her schedule allows, she serves as a clinical supervisor for speech pathology students providing therapy services to underserved communities in Central America.

As an SLP, Hanna strives to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where clients receive the speech therapy services they need, regardless of background, location, or income. While she has a strong background in pediatrics and rural healthcare, Hanna values being a well-rounded clinician to assist a wide range of client care.

In her spare time, Hanna enjoys hiking, reading, and travelling.

Senior Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Ashley has been working with children on the Autism Spectrum since 2017 when she began working as a Behaviour Interventionist. Under the supervision of Behaviour Consultants, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists, Ashley developed a well-rounded set of skills to work with children with all different types of support needs.

Ashley graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Ashley is currently working on her Master of Counselling through City University.

As an SLPA, Ashley enjoys working alongside her clients and helping them develop language and communication skills. She aims to create an engaging and fun environment for each of her clients. Additionally, Ashley facilitates social groups at Speech Bubbles. In social group she aims to create a safe environment for clients to meet other children their age, learn how to make friends, and how to navigate social situations.

Ashley is passionate about mental health, autism awareness, and similar issues. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, and exploring nature on a hike or paddle-boarding.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Mia grew up in Metro Vancouver and gained valuable experience through volunteering with various speech therapy services in the Lower Mainland. Mia graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Speech Sciences.

As an SLPA, Mia strives to help others to strengthen their skills in speech and literacy. She takes special interest in syntax, speech production, and reading comprehension.

In her spare time, Mia likes to read, crochet, and take care of her plants.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Bree is committed to continuous learning and expanding her knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology. She is currently attending Simon Fraser University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences with a major in Linguistics. In addition to her major, Bree is completing a Speech Science certificate and a minor in Learning and Developmental Disabilities.

Bree has gained experience working with children through several years of tutoring literacy-related language skills. She also gained experience during a year of shadowing a registered Speech Pathologist, providing valuable insight into supporting children in speech therapy.

As an SLPA, Bree enjoys using creativity to make sessions engaging and fun while supporting each client’s language goals. She is driven by her goal of making a positive impact on every client she works with.

In her free time, Bree enjoys reading, embroidering, baking, and solving puzzles.
